I have always loved Eden Mill. My boys and I volunteer as much as we can. They accommodate our cub scouts service projects. We have planted trees, cleared invasive plants and prepped gardens. You can learn to forage for edibles and read a story to your little one on the interactive story walk. It's really geared toward getting people off the couch and into nature. The programs are amazing and there really is something for everyone, from gardening to painting to photography. I just started the canoe training offered to volunteers for the sunrise and sunset canoe trips. Mike is a great instructor and I learned so much. I'm already looking for my own canoe. I knew nothing about how to canoe and now I'm confident that I would know how to handle any situation, emergency or otherwise. It's a truly hands on experience. So get involved with Eden Mill if you haven't already. It's a place close to my heart and my boys just love it. The staff and other volunteer are incredible. It's our intentional family!!!
